8U Blue faced the Hillsborough HYAA team this morning at 9am. The players and families were there bright and early and won the game in the 4th! Here's what we did DEFENSIVELY...
1st inning:
Lawson (second) to Kaden (shortstop) at second for out #1
Chris (pitcher) to Luke (third) for the second out
Ian had an unassisted play at first for the last out
2nd inning:
Ian (first) to Mike (pitcher) at first for out #1
Ian had an unassisted play at first for the second out
Kaden (shortstop) to Lawson (second) for out #3
3rd inning:
Jackson (pitcher) to Ian (first) for the first out
Logan (second) to Luke (shortstop) at second for out #2
Luke (shortstop) had an unassisted play at second for the last out
4th inning:
A nice 1-2-3 inning...
Jackson caught a fly ball at right centerfield for the first out
Charley (pitcher) to Isaac (first) for the second and third outs
Now for the OFFENSE...
Kaden: 0-2
Lawson: 2-2 with 2 runs scored
Lukas: 2-2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored
Luke: 0-2
Riley: 2-2 with a double, 4 RBI and 1 run scored
Isaac: 2-2 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored
Ian: 1-2 with 1 run scored
Chris: 2-2 with 1 RBI
Mike: 2-2 with 1 RBI
Jackson: 1-2 with 1 run scored
Logan: 2-2 with a triple, double, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored
Ben: 2-2with 2 RBI and 1 run scored

Our team had quick snacks, drinks and then were ready to play their second game! First pitch was at 10:30am. This game lasted less than 1 hour and we won, 20-6!

Isaac had an unassisted play at first for out #1
Double play here...Riley caught a fly ball at rightfield...threw the ball to Isaac at first to get the runner out. Nice job!
3rd inning:
Chris caught a fly ball at pitcher for out #1
Isaac caught a fly ball at right centerfield for out #2
Lawson (second) to Ian (first) for the last out
4th inning:
Another 1-2-3 inning!
Kaden (shortstop) to Ian (first) for the first out
Ian caught a line drive at first for the second out
Ian had an unassisted play at first for the last out
